Punta Ala
Punta Ala isn’t just regattas and luxury, but also beaches and pine forests that stretch towards Follonica, and a gently sloping seabed, ideal for holidays with children. Opposite Punta Ala is the small island of Sparviero, famous among bird watchers and because of the villa built there by aviator Italo Balbo, who in 1930 bought the entire headland of Punta Ala.
